Open source software
Phogit is built on the open-source projects below. The app lists each one with its version and full license text under Settings › About Phogit › Acknowledgements.
libgit2
A portable, pure C implementation of git’s core methods, and the engine behind every git operation in Phogit. Version 1.9.7. GPLv2 with linking exception.
tree-sitter
An incremental parsing library that powers Phogit’s syntax highlighting. Version 0.25.10. MIT License.
tree-sitter grammars
Fourteen grammars for the languages Phogit highlights with tree-sitter, from C to TOML, listed below with their versions. MIT License.
SwiftTreeSitter
Swift bindings for tree-sitter, by Chime. Version 0.25.0. BSD 3-Clause License.
SwiftNIO SSH
Apple’s SSH implementation in Swift, behind Phogit’s SSH remotes. Version 0.15.1. Apache License 2.0.
SwiftNIO
Apple’s networking framework, which SwiftNIO SSH runs on. Version 2.104.0. Apache License 2.0.
Swift Crypto
Apple’s cryptography library for Swift. On iPhone and iPad it passes straight through to Apple’s CryptoKit, so no OpenSSL or BoringSSL code is built in. Version 5.0.3. Apache License 2.0.
Swift Atomics and Swift Collections
Building blocks that SwiftNIO depends on. Swift Atomics 1.3.1 and Swift Collections 1.7.5. Apache License 2.0 with Runtime Library Exception.

Acknowledgements
Phogit is made possible by the libgit2 project and its contributors. Without their work, a native git client on iOS wouldn’t be feasible.
The tree-sitter project, created by Max Brunsfeld, provides the parsing technology behind Phogit’s syntax highlighting, with grammars from the authors listed above.
Apple’s SwiftNIO SSH lets Phogit clone, pull and push over SSH using the cryptography built into iOS.
The Git version control system was created by Linus Torvalds and is maintained by Junio C Hamano and the global Git community.
Phogit is written in Swift with SwiftUI, using Apple’s frameworks for iPhone and iPad.
